Cheryl Cole- Promise This Video

Cheryl Coles sophmore effort, Messy Little Raindrops, has already kicked off with lead single Promise This. Ryan Tedder has commented that the albums direction would be "quirky new dance music" and it perfectly sums up this record. Promise This is an unusual track on first listen...and frankly it doesn't live up its lead single status quite as well as R'n'B influenced Fight For This Love. But after repeat listens the tracks proves to be actually brilliant. It has an uncanny reference to death is perfectly timed after Cole Malaria illness, much in the same way that Fight For This Love was released after Ashley Cole was caught cheating, clearly Cheryl loves commentary songs. The video is slightly dissapointing , but still an apt video for the song. Nevertheless this song will succeed due to the legion of Cheryl fans and clearly a performance on X-Factor will increase the album sales.

Robyn- Body Talk Pt 2

Body Talk Part 1 was the first in a trilogy of albums from Swedish pop sensation Robyn. The eclectic E.P introduced a new sound for Robyn, a hybrid mix of her Pop music heard on her 2005 smash Robyn, blended with the Electric disco sound which developed during her collaborations with Kleerup (With Every Heartbeat)and Royksop (The Girl and the Robot). Whilst successfully showcasing her versatility, audibly Body Talk Part 1 seemed somewhat muddled. Undoubtedly tracks Dancing on my Own, Fembots and Dancehall Queen stood out but Swedish track Jag Vet En Dejilig Rosa and Don't F**king Tell Me What to Do distracted from the Electro/pop brilliance of the E.P. It is forgivable to have songs that won't be every bodies cup of tea on an album but on a record of only 8 songs, every track counts. This however is remedied by Body Talk Part 2.

The final master of Hang With Me served as the lead single from the second instalment of the trilogy. The added synths and beat and ultimately the entire reworked version fit more comfidently with the track in comparison to the acoustic version. The final track of BT2, Indestructable also being acoustic suggests it will later be released as in full production on the third instalment however it comfortably suits the acoustic format, as lyrically the song is beautiful and this version allows the lyric to shine through. Employing a orchestral introduction, an unusual ploy for a pop record sonically makes the track a masterpiece and as an album closer this track becomes a dark horse.

The standout tracks come in the form of Love Kills, a former Track of the Week on That Broken Record, and Criminal Intents which is the perfect electro record. these track prove to be the highlights of Robyn's 12 year career. The beats seem infectious enough for the clubs which often means a sure fire hit. Lyrically both are equally as well written and simply get better with repeated plays.

There is a suprise collaboration with Snoop Dog; not the most obvious of choices but works brilliantly on the album. We Dance to the Beat mirrors Don't Fucking Tell Me What to Do from BT1, however manages to go the extra distance which DFTWTD seemed to lack. Include me out and In My Eyes are perfect pop songs to open the album and are perfectly justified for inclusion on the album.

In a year where there has been a resurgence of pop music; with releases such as Kylie's Aphrodite, and Katy Perry's Teenage Dream leading the charts, Robyn manages to hold her position in the charts. Her album works brilliantly and if the final instalment lives up to it's predecessor then Robyn will have cemented herself as a true artist; an acclaim that she has deserved yet seemingly been overlooked in the world of music.

Video Premiere/ Preview? Kanye West- Power

Im a little confused by this one, as this has been described as the video premiere however only lasts 1 minute 2 seconds, so does that mean that is all we get or is it simply a preview?? The description "It's Not a Video, It's a Painting" from Kanye all fits into place now, because it is a painting, a live, virtual painting. I think so far it is amazing, something you don't really see, and there is SO much to see. Honestly it fascinates me.

Eminem ft. Rihanna- Love The Way You Lie

So its finally here, the video for the smash single Love The Way You Lie lifted from Eminems number 1 album Recovery. The video features Dominic Monaghan of Lost fame, but i'd rather remember him as a hobbit to be honest, and Megan Fox who doesn't really need much of an introduction 'cos she's Megan Fox you know? The couple portray an abusive relationship and do a very good job of it. Brilliant video!

New Song! Taylor Swift- Mine ALREADY Number One!

Well these post may seem a bit rushed, but everything about this song is too so you'll forgive for it!

So get this- Taylor Swift, Country sweetheart from the U.S of A, had her newest offering, Mine, leaked online earlier today. In reaction, only hours later, her record label officially released the song! This sudden release of the song hasn't worried her loyal fans, oh no, after only FIVE hours the song has reached number one on the iTunes chart! Taylor has officially broken the record for the fastest number one of all time, a record set by...well, her! They don't call her Taylor Swift for nothing! (i know cheesy but this will probably be my only ever post on her...she's not my cup of Tea really!)

Video Premiere News: Kanye, Eminem, Alesha Dixon, Katy Perry

Katy Perry: Teenage Dream (10th August)
The video is set for a 10th August release, there have been many images released of the video which all show a cool California PARTAY! Today a preview was released which proves this video is going to be brilliant. Perry described the song as 'euphoric' and the video matches this sentiment, check it out below!

Alesha Dixon- Drummer Boy (7th August)
Alesha Dixon is following the success of her debut solo album The Alesha Show, with a new album, releasing Drummer Boy as the first single. Alesha has been doing the gig circuit with the song which has received HIGH praise from Pop Justice;
a) The new Alesha Dixon single is amazing and a bit of a grower.

b) That's it.
And to them that is some high praise!

Eminem & Rihanna- Love The Way You Lie (5th August?)
I am fast learning in the world of blogging that record company's may set release dates, but if they are rushing these project they are very rarely met. And who suffers i hear you ask? ME, that's who! Im sitting here telling all of you one thing and then i have to back track and you hear 101 different release dates, it's tedious and annoying.

So anyway, E's & Ri's video should have been released today! so unless it happens in the next few hours, then I'm annoyed! Cool pic I've found though eh?

Kanye West- Power 5th August
Same rules apply Westy, wheres my video? and there isn't much more to say as Kanye himself says its a painting...don't let us down!

Ke$ha- Take It Off Video

Ke$ha has released the video for her latest offering from her album Animal. It's an infectious song and when you get over the intro its a stonker! I think the video is really good too, again we see Ke$ha loving the paint, like her last video Your Love Is My Drug. She shamlessly uses auto-tune but i think that it works for her, she's got a style that shows Britney how it should be done! HIT!

Katy Perry-Teenage Dream Preview

Here you have the album teaser from iTunes of Katy Perry's latest offering, Teenage Dream. From the first listen it is clear that Perry has found her sound with this album sticking to the style of Waking Up in Vegas, Teenage Dream and Hot 'N Cold. On a first listen it sounds like a fun album that will have a fair few hits on it. It is a shame there isn't any ballads that seem as strong as Thinking Of You, which was a beautiful song off her last record One Of The Boys. When it has had its official release i will post a full review but currently its a big thumbs up for Teenage Dream.

The Saturdays- Missing You ( Cahill Club Mix)

The Saturdays performed their latest single Missing You on Alan Carrs Chatty Man last night. They showcased a remix of their latest offering which is availble from iTunes. Here you have the radio edit of the song. In think it is a solid effort from the girls but I do worry about them at the moment. Missing you isn't their best song, mainly because it is awkwardly caught between a ballad and a mid tempo song, i think this is why they have released the remix to gain a few more supporters of the track.

Also they are releasing an 8 Track E.P this month called 'Headlines' which not only features new material but also reworked versions of songs from their second album Wordshaker. It seems that The Saturdays are in crisis mode and unless they can come up with something that matches the sucess of Chasing Lights they risk getting dropped. This would be a shame, they are a great girl band.

Freemason ft. Wynter Gordon- Believer

I've been trying to get my hands on this song for the last few days and it may or may not be the offical Freemasons remix but as it i think its a good song. I'm a fan of Wynter Gordon so when i heard about this collaboration, I was looking forward to hearing the song. It is set to be released August 15th.

Ke$ha ft. Katy Perry- True Love

Here you have a new song from Ke$ha and Katy Perry, called True Love. Now I'm not the biggest fan of this song, but seeing as it is causing a bit of a splash on the blogosphere i think its only fair to post it. It sounds like it would fit perfectly on One Of The Boys, Perry's last album, as much as i loved that record, i think this song now sounds dated! I'll give it a couple of listens and it may prove itself to be a grower but as it stands, the collaboration seems to be more about the big names rather than the end product! Miss.

The U.K Charts 01/08/10

This week sees 5 new entries int he top ten. The Wanted soared straight to number 1 with their debut song All Time Low. Travie McCoy has reached number three, but i think if his song was released maybe a week or two earlier he would have got to number one. Billionaire is a brilliant summer song, but i think it has now had its day. Flo Rida managed to jump into the top 5 with his collaboration with David Guetta: 'Club Can't Handle Me'

1. (-) The Wanted: 'All Time Low'
2. (1) Yolanda Be Cool & D Cup: 'We No Speak Americano'
3. (-) Travie McCoy ft. Bruno Mars: 'Billionaire'
4. (2) Eminem & Rihanna: 'Love The Way You Lie'
5. (-) Flo Rida ft. David Guetta: 'Club Can't Handle Me'
6. (3) B.o.B. ft Hayley Williams: 'Airplanes'
7. (-) Swedish House Mafia ft. Pharrell: 'One (Your Name)'
8. (5) Eliza Doolittle: 'Pack Up'
9. (4) Katy Perry ft. Snoop Dogg: 'California Gurls'
10. (-) Magnetic Man ft. Angela Hunte: 'I Need Air'

Eminem has hung onto the top spot once again. Tom Jones has proved that he can still sell records even if he is in his seventies. Luckily for the music industry Planet Jedward, The Irish Duos debut album only reached number 17.

1. (1)Eminem: 'Recovery'
2. (-) Tom Jones: 'Praise & Blame'
3. (3) Plan B: 'The Defamation Of Strickland Banks'
4. (5) Eliza Doolittle: 'Eliza Doolittle'
5. (-) Avenged Sevenfold: 'Nightmare'
6. (6) Lady GaGa: 'The Fame Monster'
7. (2) Professor Green: 'Alive Till I'm Dead'
8. (4) Kylie Minogue: 'Aphrodite'
9. (7) Mumford & Sons: 'Sigh No More'
10. (21) Michael Bublé: 'Crazy Love'

This week has seen a disappointing amount of new music, so there is little change to what I've been listening to! Katy Perry still is my favourite song at the moment, but I'm loving Robyn just as much. Both their albums should be good'uns! Ellie Gouldings song The Writer has grown on me a lot too!

1. Katy Perry: 'Teenage Dream'
2. Robyn: 'Hang With Me'
3. The Wanted: 'All Time Low'
4. Mark Ronson ft. Q-Tip & MNDR: 'Bang Bang Bang'
5. Professor Green: 'Kids That Love to Dance'
6. Ellie Goulding- ‘The Writer’
7. Olly Murs: 'Please Don't Let Me Go'
8. The Script- ‘For The First Time’
9. The Hoosiers: 'Choices'
10. The Saturdays: 'Missing You'

X Factor to Release Live Performances

Following the success Glee has had on the charts Simon Cowell has reportedly decided to release the X Factor live performances. This means after the contestants perform on the live shows their renditions will be available for digital download, in turn eligible to get to number one. This will obviously earn the show more money but also might see the charts being dominated by the show.

It is a good idea to release the performances as it means the talented contestants who do not get to the final get the recognition on the charts, but it also means that potentially there could be an all X Factor top 10 which wouldn't really be a good thing for the music industry.

Album Updates

Kanye West (TBA)

The album art for Kanyes next album has been released. The album includes lead single Power, a really cool song, although it does sound like it should be on the soundtrack for the Batman films.

Natasha Bedingfield- Strip Me

2007 saw the release of Natashas 2nd album N.B, which was a minor hit for the star here in the U.K. After this the Brit travelled across the pond to crack the music secene and hasn't really been seen since. She released a reworked version of N.B, Pocketful of Sunshine for the U.S Market which spawned three hits including the transatalnatic smash Love Like This ft. Sean Kingston. This year sees the release of Natshas 3rd/4th L.P, (i can't figure it out myself) Strip Me. Lead single Touch has been having some major promotion in America, and although the hook has a killer hook, the muddled verses make the song difficult to enjoy verging on ridiculous. We get it Tash, you've seen Crash! Her sudden neglegance of the U.K hasn't gone unnoticed either!

Strip Me will be released later in 2010.

The Black Eyed Peas- The Beginning

The B.E.Ps served up a smash with The E.N.D released last year. Hands up i did think that it was their cheeky way to break up, but they have proved me wrong with the announcment of their next album The Beginning. Will.i.am has been all over Cheryl Coles album so it will be great to see more of his own music again. Speaking about the album he commented the record "symbolizes growth, new beginnings and starts, fresh new perspective."

JoJo- All I Want Is Everything

JoJo's time away from the charts can only be described as EPIC! The songstress released her second album in 2006 but her last hit 'Anything' still manages to get me singing along. All I Want Is Everything is a project that has been in the works since 2008. Since then the star has changed labels due to lack of attention for the star and reworked the album in the process to keep the sound fresh. With 21 confirmed recorded songs hopefully the final package due for release this summer will feature the creme de la creme of the recordings, and the albumw ill have been worth the wait!

Kelly Rowland (TBA)

Suprise Suprise Kelly Rowland is mugging me off again, making me report wrong information and leaving me with egg on my face. Her album has been pushed back again with a release date set at November 2nd. Honestly i am becoming sceptical about this project, when i heard Commander i honestly thought this was Rowlands time to shine, but sicne then it has all gone down hill for the former Destinys Child member.

Olly Murs (TBA)

Simon Cowell has reportedly given The X Factor alumni the thumbs up on his debut album. This is good signs that the album will follow the lead of Please don't Let Me Go which is already generating buzz on the music scene.

News: Estelle New Single & Kelly Rowland Album Update

Estelle has released images from the video of her latest single Fall In Love, one of which i have for you. It seems like a cool summery song but she had better hurry up with this one because summer is slipping away fast this year. You can listen to the track below. The song is lifted from Estelles 3rd album All Of Me and follows single Freak which scored a disappointing( if not embarrassing) chart position of 103!

Kelly Rowland, who this year released dance floor smash Commander, has announced her highly anticipated new album will be released on the 26th October. The album originally expected to be called Kelly Rowland currently has no name as poor reaction to the title made Kelly's team scrap their original choice. Now the decision has been left to the fans. This is as a wise move as this is essentially a make or break record from the former member of Destiny's Child. The album is known to include songs Rose Coloured Glasses, Grown Woman and Shake Them Haters Off.

The Wanted- All Time Low

British boy band The Wanted have jumped to number 1 on the iTunes download chart on the first day of it being officially available.

They have left comments on twitter saying:
"['All Time Low'] number 1 on iTunes right now!

"AHHH #1 I TOLD YOU WE COULD DO IT! haha (sic).

"How was everyone's weekend? Ours was superb - great gigs and iTunes no.1! Now very excited for this week's shopping centre tour."

"My god that's sooo good!!! Thank you to all the friends and family. It means so much to us!ssooooo much!"

I really like this song, and I'm impressed that they have reached the top spot on iTunes chart on thier first day. To be honest I expected them to flop but it looks like its good news for the boys!

Video Premiere Robyn- Hang With Me

Robyn - Hang With Me official video from Robyn on Vimeo.

Here you have the new video for Robyns single Hang With Me from Body Talk Pt 2. I think this is a great video as it features snippets of Robyn's life, including a trip to Brighton, my current home.

Jamelia signs New Record Deal

R'n'B songstress Jamelia, famous for hits such as Superstar, Thank You, and Beware of the Dog has signed to a new record label, with plans to shoot the video for her new single once the deal had been signed.

Jamelia, who left EMI in 2007 has been working on music for her fourth studio L.P for some time. Commenting on the recent contract, Jamelia said:
"Obviously this is really really exciting for me, let the games begin!"
I have been a fan of Jamelia for years but i never think she is given enough recognition for her music. Her third album Walk With Me didn't achieve as much as its predessessor however i think she challenged herself more which was nice see.I can't wait to hear new material from her.

The U.K Charts 25/07/10

There has been a little shift around with the charts as Yolanda Be Cool has climbed to the top spot with We No Speak Americano. This is such a good club song and deserves to be number one. Eliza Doolittle is moving up the top ten with Pack Up gaining the number eight postion. It looks like JLS might be saying goodbye to the top 10 by next week as their god awful single Club is Alive falls to number 9.

1. (2) Yolanda Be Cool and D Cup: 'We No Speak Americano'
2. (3) Eminem & Rihanna: 'I Love The Way You Lie'
3. (1) B.o.B ft. Hayley Williams: 'Airplanes'
4. (4) Katy Perry ft. Snoop Dogg: 'California Gurls'
5. (8) Eliza Doolittle: 'Pack Up'
6. (6) Mark Ronson & The Business Intl: 'Bang Bang Bang'
7. (5) Professor Green ft. Lily Allen: 'Just Be Good To Green'
8. (9) Enrique Iglesias ft. Pitbull: 'I Like It'
9.(7) JLS: 'The Club Is Alive'
10.(10) 3OH!3 ft. Ke$ha: 'My First Kiss'

There is little movement on the album chart with Eminem sticking at the top spot for his third week at number one(Non-consectutive thanks to one Miss Minogue). Professor Green has entered the chart at number 2 with his debut album Alive Til I'm Dead. to be honest nothing else of interest has happened in the album chart.

1. (1) Eminem: 'Recovery'
2. (-) Professor Green: 'Alive Til I'm Dead'
3. (4) Plan B: 'The Defamation Of Strickland Banks'
4. (2) Kylie Minogue: 'Aphrodite'
5. (3) Eliza Doolittle: 'Eliza Doolittle'
6. (5) Lady Gaga: 'The Fame Monster'
7. (6) Mumford & Sons: 'Sigh No More'
8. (7) Alicia Keys: 'The Element Of Freedom'
9. (-) Earth, Wind & Fire: 'The Greatest Hits'
10(13) Florence and the Machine: 'Lungs'

So there is nothing official about this chart, but i have decided to include my own top ten of songs im listening to at the moment...top five being the songs i am rinsing!

1. Katy Perry: 'Teenage Dream'
2. Robyn: 'Hang With Me'
3. Professor Green: 'Kids That Love to Dance'
4. Mark Ronson ft. Q-Tip & MNDR: 'Bang Bang Bang'
5. Kylie Minogue: 'Too Much'
6. Eminem ft. Rihanna: 'I Love The Way You Lie'
7. The Hoosiers: 'Choices'
8. Olly Murs: 'Please Don't Let Me Go'
9. Kanye West: 'Power'
10. The Wanted: 'All Time Low'

Professor Green-Billionaire Live Lounge

Billionaire by Travie McCoy, rewritten and performed by Professor Green.

"...if you could buy class, i'd buy Katie Price a bunch of it!"

Such a good take on the song! x

Professor Green-Kids That Love To Dance ft Emeli Sande

Third single from possibly the chaviest rapper, but for some reason i love him!

Video Premiere: Olly Murs- Please Don't Let Me Go

Here you have the new video for Olly Murs song Please Don't Let Me Go. You don't really expect much from the X Factor alumni who didn't win, some do make attempts to have a career, usually releasing a string of cover versions (cough* Jedward*cough) so its nice to see that Olly has come out with an original song that really defines his style.

It is a mixture of Jason Mraz and Will Young, which isn't a bad thing readers. I like the video too, it doesn't look as low budget as expected, so I'm guessing Syco are injecting a bit of dosh into this project.

Katy Perry-Teenage Dream (First Listen)

The title track from Perrys newest record Teenage Dream has surfaced. It doesnt have the same kick to it that Waking up in Vegas has but its a good number to add to the catalouge. I think its a great song after just one listen. Check it out below :)

TDKP by dlweb

Robyn- Body Talk Pt 2

OUT SEPTEMBER 6TH

1. IN MY EYES
2. INCLUDE ME OUT
3. HANG WITH ME
4. LOVE KILLS
5. WE DANCE TO THE BEAT
6. CRIMINAL INTENT
7. U SHOULD KNOW BETTER feat. SNOOP DOGG
8. INDESTRUCTIBLE (acoustic version)

Video Premiere: T.I ft Keri Hilson- Got Your Back

I have been a big fan of Keri Hilson for some time now and she always manages to team up with brilliant people. Heres her latest with T.I. I just wish she would do more solo songs that showcase what she can do. I loved her recent song 'I Like' which reached #1 in Germany and has been steadily rising the chart here in the U.K. Below i have posted her song with Bei Maejor- Gamez, to be released soon.

Video Premiere: Christina Aguilera- You Lost Me

Here you have the new video for Christina Aguilera's new song You Lost Me. This is such a nice song, but i think it might not do as well as it deserves. I would love to be wrong. Clearly one of her best songs it really shows off Aguilera vocals.

Katy Perry-Teenage Dream (I hope)

Well now i am dubiously posting this one...this is apparently the image for Katy Perry's new album...but i have lost all faith in this particular story!

The second single lifted from Teenage Dream is expected to get its video premiere in the 1st week of August. I like the cover as it channels the 'dreamy' side of the teenage dream, and im sure it will appeal to a fair few teenagers...but this is image is a bit "seen it all before" as it is just like the scene from California Gurls!

Sincerest Apologies

Dear Reader (s?)

I have messed up not once, but twice in recent posts so I apologise profoundly, but I am here to make amends. First of all i posted my favourite blonde Swede Robyn's newest track Hang With Me. Now other than Annie Mac's annoying introduction, the song is brilliant, and the more i listen to it, the more i become obsessed. The problem lies in the blurb i posted underneath the song...the song does not feature on her current album Body Talk Prt 1, rather it is the lead single for the next installment of the Body Talk series, Body Talk Prt 2 to be released 6th September.

I rushed through my Katy Perry post yesterday which is foolish, showing you her album cover. WRONG. This was the sleeve to her next single Teenage Dream from the album TEENAGE DREAM. So I'm sure you can all now see where the mix up happened.

Anyway there is little point dwelling on my mistakes, more importantly what I'm going to do to make it up to you. First up i have the image of Katy Perry's single without the annoying tags all over it.

Secondly i have an image taken from the set of Eminem and Rihanna's new video, Love The Way You Lie, which you could argue is proof that i do get blogs right! From the looks of this photo there is going to be a lot of fire in the video (torched house in the back)I do have to say i am LOVING Rihanna red crop, as old news as it is she is looking goood these days. Can't wait for the video to be released now.
I will do my best to make sure that i have fully researched my shizz before i get post happy! x

Cheryl Cole on the Mend?

As we are all aware Cheryl Cole has had to pull out of X Factor Bootcamp after contracting malaria in Tanzania and chundering everywhere! Nicole Scherzinger kindly stepped in to cover for the poor love whilst she has been in hospital. Coles dear friend, one Simon Cowell has reported that she is now on the mend and eager to get back to work. The X Factor chief commented:
"The worst is over. The texts are getting increasingly feisty so she's on the mend. It was serious and she was ill - we didn't realize how ill. But judging by the text messages I've had, she is definitely looking forward to getting back to work. I think our job is to make sure she doesn't come back too quickly because I think she's bored out of her mind and going crazy."
This is great news for all the Cheryl fans, and I personally can't wait for her to get back to work not least because she is in desperate need of a new photoshoot. Images of her a drying up fast with all this media attention hence the old-skool pic above!

Keisha Buchanan Update

After being ousted from The Sugababes last September, Keisha Buchanan, founder of the band has been working on solo material. The track 'Fearless' surfaced a while ago, and below there is a video of her discussing her upcoming plans, her relationship with Jay Z's label Roc Nation and the direction of her new record.

Some of us have never quite got over her departure from The Sugababes (namely me) so I'm pleased to see that Ms. Buchanan should be attacking or airwaves again soon.

Katy Perry-Teenage Dream

Katy Perry is set to release her follow up album to 2008's 'One of the Boys'. Teenage Dream is hitting the shelves on August 24th. The first image of the album cover has been released, annoyingly the only one available is covered in promotion but at least we can all get an idea of what it looks like. The confirmed track listing is below.

1. "Teenage Dream"
2. "Last Friday Night (T.G.I.F.)"
3. "California Gurls" (featuring Snoop Dogg)
4. "Firework"
5. "Peacock"
6. "Who Am I Living For?"
7. "The One That Got Away"
8. "E.T."
9. "Circle The Drain"
10. "Pearl"
11. "Hummingbird Heartbeat"
12. "Not Like The Movies"

Perry has said the albums sounds is
"‘Love Fool’ by the Cardigans meets ‘Into the Groove’ by Madonna but a little more meat on the bones lyrically"
If California Gurls is anything to go by then this album will be a stonker.

Robyn- Hang With Me

Here you have the 2nd single from Robyn's album Body Talk Prt 1, Hang With Me. Its released 6th September. Robyn is smashing them out at the moment, i love this song!

Bruno Mars- Just The Way You Are

Just as a cheeky treat, here's the first single from Bruno Mars. Bruno has written for B.o.B, Travie McCoy and The Sugababes and his first solo effort doesn't disappoint.

Video Preview: Christina Aguilera- You Lost Me

Here you have a sneak peak of the video for Christina Aguilera's second Single from Bionic, 'You Lost Me' Such a beautiful song, written by Sia.

Video Premiere: Wynter Gordon- Dirty Talk

This track from Wynter Gordon has been floating around for some time now, so I'm pleased it finally has a video. However the Hogwarts-meets-Garden of Eden video is a bit of a let down. For a song that says "climax, hot wax, S&M on the floor, i like it hardcore", you would expect a filthy love-fest, unfortunately this song doesn't do exactly what it says on the tin! Boo!

Lady Gaga 3rd Album Update

Lady Gaga tweeted this image of herself in the studio with producer Fernando Garibay this week. The pair have been working on Gaga's new record which is slated for release at the beginning of 2011. Garibay who worked with Gaga on 'Paparazzi' and 'Dance in the Dark', is also famed for working with Britney Spears, The Sugababes and The Pussycat Dolls. The star has commented that her third studio album is her best work yet and will be 'Iconic'.

Digital Spy reporting on the delay to her album commented:
"The record will be delayed until next year because she wants to spend more time doing interviews and appearances. She also wants to complete the 'Monster Ball' tour and have a rest"
Gaga has showcased 'You & I', a confirmed track for the next album, which shows the star moving in a rockier direction. If Gaga is confident about this album, then i guess her Little Monsters are in for a treat in the New Year.

Ciara- Basic Instinct Pushed To October

Basic Instinct, Ciara's 4th L.P has been pushed back, yet again, now with the release date set at October 5th. Originally intended for an August 24th release, the move hardly installs confidence into the project.

The lead single 'Ride' featuring Ludacris is currently climbing the Billboard Hot 100, peaking at number 5. This comes after a shakey start with MTV only showing the video after 9pm. Although admittedly not my favourite release from the singer, I do really like the track. The records other songs include 'Basic Instincts (You Got Me)' and 'Gimmie Dat', both suggesting the album should be a good'un!

Check out 'Gimmie Dat' below, which has been confirmed as the albums second single. It's very similar to Fantasy Ride's 'Work', however lacks the punch that 'Work' had.

Video News: Eminem ft. Rihanna- Love The Way You Lie

The director of the video for Eminem and Rihannas latest duet 'Love The Way You Lie' has confirmed the video shoot will begin Tuesday 20th July. The track has already climbed to #2 on the Billboard Hot 100 and #3 on the U.K top 40. Director Joseph Kahn commented on his Twitter:
"Emergency music video. Gonna write and turn in a treatment in three hours to shoot asap"

I'm really looking forward to this video, it's a brilliant track and hopefully the video will follow suit. Eminem has also reportedly begun filming for the next single 'No Love' featuring Lil Wayne; taken from his Number 1 album Recovery.

The Script -Science and Faith

The Script have unveilved their new single 'For The First Time' to be realeased on the 5th September, with their 2nd LP, Science and Faith following the week after. After the first listen it seems like a good song, but if its anything like the bands previous material it should be grower. Personally i am really looking forward to their new album.

Their debut album 'The Script' hit number one in 2008, going 4 X Platinum.

Olly Murs- Please Don't Let Me Go (Acoustic)

For those of you who remember Olly Murs from X-Factor, here's an acoustic version of his new single Please Don't Let Me Go, released 29th August.

I love this song...but i do think the introduction is needlessly cringey!

Christina Aguilera- Bionic

It seems Christina Aguilera has become the latest artist to be at war with her label. Bionic; Aguileras fourth studio album has proven to be her lowest selling L.P to date, despite reaching number one in the U.K.

The album, released earlier this year sees Xtina exploring new areas with her music, collaborating with artists stretching from M.I.A to Tricky Stewart (Umbrella). However critics have slammed Aguilera for trying too hard. A source has said, Christina “wants to compete with her peers, but there is a disconnect because, over the years, she’s been a mother and a wife, not a rocker.”

Despite the low sales i think this album rivals her 2002 multi-Platinum selling album Stripped. Like Stripped it is a diverse album with some questionable moments, but the gems on the record far out weigh the skippable tracks. Highlights include Woohoo, You Lost Me and Prima Donna. The rest of the album is pretty dam good too, so check it out yourself and let me know what you think.
